Job Description: 

Job Purpose

Assist Relationship Manager, Senior Relationship Managers & Unit Head in effective and efficient Account / Portfolio Management. Act as an independent contact with internal / external customers so as to enhance customer satisfaction. Ensure maintenance of quality of the Bank’s assets.

Key Accountabilities

•    Assists in:

–    Preparation of Credit Applications (Complete Proposal with the exception of Account Relationship Strategy)
–    Preparing internal memos and external correspondence
–    Obtaining bank reports, D&B reports and other opinions as required.


•    Independently manage a portfolio of borrowing relationships - Risk and Revenue responsibility.

•    Liaise with Unit Head and Business Credit for various routine transactions/ requirements.

•    Timely completion and perfection of Security Documentation and follow up to ensure ongoing compliance as per approved terms and conditions.

Other Accountabilities

•    Account Operations:
•    Loan Creation
•    Review and reroute TT’s / Pending transactions with required information
•    Review credit maturity profiles so as to ensure due date settlement
•    Monitor and advise the Relationship Manager of internal / external commitments such as excesses / documentation deferrals / disbursements etc..


•    Constantly updates and maintains client files.

•    Provides back-up to Relationship Manager, or Senior Relationship Manager during absence.

•    Reviews and updates on monthly housekeeping issues and provides inputs for MIS.

•    Provides project specific assistance along with analytical inputs to Senior Relationship Manager or Unit Head.

•    Provides assistance to new Credit Analysts as required.

Other Accountabilities

Job Context

The job holder would need to contribute/support Unit Head /Senior Management in various assignments /Bank projects from time to time. 

Education

Bachelors Degree related to a business field such as accounting or economics is required

Experience and Skills

Professional Qualifications – MBA | CA | ACCA | CFA | CAIIB preferred

 

Work Experience

Minimum of 2-3 years of banking experience in supporting Relationship Management with basic knowledge of accounts, capability of assessing the financial statements correctly and knowledge of accounting ratios. Knowledge of Corporate Banking products and UAE market knowledge is preferred.
