Job Purpose
Act as a bridge between Business and IT Teams to define IT requirements of Business Projects, vendor and solution selection, facilitating user acceptance testing and support production rollout.
Key Accountabilities
* To support reengineering of business processes / business analysis in 10 or more Business Applications including Core Banking and Risk Management Systems effectively and efficiently
* To manage Projects worth up to AED 2,000,000 meeting the scope, design, schedule and quality criteria.
* To manage functional support and system testing in core banking and other business applications
To assist Executive – Business Analysis in strategic/tactical issues.

Job Context
The Role holder would need to co-ordinate with various departments on project identification based on business needs, project prioritization, business analysis, product selection, implementation (requirement analysis, testing etc.), production support, problem management and enhancement for successful delivery and on going performance improvement.

• ITIL V4 (F), HDI-SCTL
• PMP/Prince 2
• Any BA Training
Work Experience (Required)
• Minimum 5 years’ of experience in a banking / financial environment is a pre-requisites for this role. Experience should cover:
o Business Analysis > 3 years
o Project Management > 2 years
• Experience in an IT organization or a consulting organization or a leading bank is desired but not mandatory.
Specialist Skills/Competencies Required for the Role (Required)
Business Analysis:
• Should be well-conversant with software development life cycle and should be able to lead a team to analyse, document and communicate the business requirement in the area of corporate and retail banking in a systematic way.
• Knowledge of banking products like T24, Islamic Banking, accounting rules, regulatory requirements is expected. Good knowledge of internet banking, GL system and workflow procedures including Finance, Product Control, Accounts Payable, Nostro Reconciliation etc. is expected.
• Knowledge of SSAD / OOAD (Entity relationship diagram, data flow diagram, control-state diagram) is expected.
Business Processes
Should be familiar with practices in the area of corporate and retail banking
Project Management
• Should be able to manage small/medium sized projects with tight deadlines and budgets. Knowledge of project estimation, risk analysis and formal project planning is essential
• Should be able to work with and appraise people of different demographic profiles
Technical
• Familiarity with web architecture
• Working knowledge of Unix / Windows platforms
• Working knowledge in SQL and enterprise RDBMS
• Familiarity with both Object-oriented analysis and SSAD
• Experience in managing third-party application and working with the vendor based on SLA
• Exposure to unit/module/integration testing
• Familiarity with BASEL II requirements
• Familiarity with international service management frameworks such as ITIL/COBIT
• Familiarity with IT audit processes
• Exposure to documentation skills
• Familiarity with Change Management, Configuration Management, Problem Management Procedures
