Job Purpose
To lead and manage the Cash Management Operations team overseeing clearing, LBD, PDC, cash collection, remittances, and salary payments. Ensure seamless execution of daily operations in compliance with regulatory, AML, and internal bank policies while maintaining high service standards.
Key Accountabilities
Oversee end-to-end operations for:
o Clearing (Inward/Outward)
o Local Bills Discounting (LBD)
o Cash Collection & Handling
o Domestic & International Remittances
o Salary & Bulk Payment Processing
• Ensure operational accuracy and timely execution of transactions across all cash management functions.
• Monitor and optimize workflow planning and resource allocation to maintain service levels.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Central Bank regulations, AML standards, and internal controls.
• Escalate exceptions, breaches, or risk events to the Head of Operations immediately.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Support Emiratisation by identifying roles within Cash Ops suitable for UAE nationals and mentoring new joiners.
• Lead reconciliation and exception handling for clearing and remittance transactions.
• Perform UAT for system enhancements related to cash management modules.
• Act as the recovery lead for business continuity planning specific to cash operations.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to resolve operational bottlenecks and improve turnaround times.

Education
Experience and Skills
10–15 years of banking experience, with 8–10 years in managing cash operations teams.
• Strong knowledge of:
o UAE clearing systems (Image Cheque Clearing, ICCS)
o SWIFT and domestic remittance platforms
o Salary file processing (WPS, non-WPS)
o Cash logistics and vendor coordination
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in operational risk management and regulatory compliance.
