Job Purpose
• Jobholder is responsible for development, implementation, and maintenance of Middleware/ SOA.
• Leads a team of Digital Transformation/Automation specialists.
• Leads the In-House Development team.
Key Accountabilities
1. To design, develop and implement secure business function on Middleware application as per existing software development standards.
2. Providing support and advice to Application Development and Service Support teams with regard to the use of middleware products.
3. Administering and supporting the middleware environments.
4. Testing and upgrading the middleware environments.
5. Maintain an overview of the infrastructure and users to constantly reassess the environment and rationalize them.
6. Providing second-level support for middleware products as required.
7. Problem solving day-to-day technical issues.
8. Maintaining strong relationships with users and middleware vendors.
9. Configure and maintain deployed Middleware system.
10. Ensuring uniform and cohesive monitoring is applied across the relevant infrastructures.
11. Review and re-engineer architecture of Middleware/Rendezvous based applications.
12. Support application development team through the life cycle of their application for Middleware/Rendezvous related aspects. Prepare Middleware Application System Recovery Plans
13. Managing internal projects and providing reporting back to the management structure.
14. Assist the Unit Head to prepare annual plans, budgets and resources for the effective functioning of the unit.
15. Ensure to comply with the IT Security, Risk and Compliance requirements

• TOGAF 9
• Formal Training/Certification in SDLC.
• Formal Training/Certification in Core Banking System (Preferably Temenos T24).
• MS SQL/Oracle/DB2 certification
• CompTIA A+/MTA/ITAM/CHAMP
• CEH, CISSP, CompTIA-Security +
• CCSK, CompTIA-Cloud+
• Formal Training/Certification in Digital Transformation (Any), RPA/ML/AI (Any)
• CAP (ISA)
• ITIL V4 (F), HDI-SCTL
• PMP/Prince 2, PgMP
• Any BA Training/Certification.
Work Experience (Required)
• 8+ years’ experience leading Enterprise Integration/Middleware team.
• Expert in Waterfall, Agile, Devops and Scrum SDLC methodology.
• Hands on/working knowledge of application and web servers.
• Experience leading unit/module/integration testing
• Hands on experience in Vendor Management
• Hands on/working domain knowledge of SOA.
• Hands on/working knowledge of .Net, Java programming languages.
• Hands on/working Knowledge of Infobasic
• Hands on/working knowledge of encryption controls.
• API expert.
• Expert in IT architecture design & implementation
• Well versed in Application CIS controls.
• Experience leading Customer Channel/Core Banking/ESB development/upgrade/migration.
• Working knowledge of PCI DSS
• Financial Transaction Management knowledge (ISO 8583) (only for payment Sys specialist
• Deep understanding of Application Sand boxing
