Job Purpose

•    To relationship manage Priority Banking customers in assigned region to achieve the financial & service levels targets. 
•    To liaise with Regional & Branch Managers accordingly to market & serve Priority Banking segment.
•    To provide market / customer feedback to line manager for consideration.
•    To drive overall customer origination of New to Bank & New to Product customers within assigned region. Grow segment accounts base and increase forward/backward cross-sell suite of applicable products – Investments, liabilities, assets etc. 
•    To profile customers & market applicable investment products & liaise with Investment Dept. for HNWI who require advisory services.
•    To liaise with relevant departments to ensure best practice overall customer experience & development of product suite.
•    To be directly responsible for relationship management of selected / assigned customers within the segment.
•    Work closely with C&IB, credit & remedial to ensure that financial objectives of business segment are met.

Key Accountabilities

•    To ensure that financial objectives of business segment are met.
•    Provide exceptional customer experience delivery.
•    Deliver budgeted origination of New-to-Bank (NTB) & New-to Product (NTP) customers using Relationship Managers & branch distribution channels.
•    Ensure focussed communication of NBF’s Priority Banking products & propositions to existing & potential customers.
•    Provide support to retail credit team in ensuring portfolio quality of retail assets by providing market intelligence & early alert signals on attrition.
•    Compliance with processes, policies & items governing KYC, AML and customer due diligence policies & procedures.

Other Accountabilities

•    Monitor & review products, service levels & processes & provide innovative solutions to address opportunities & challenges faced.
•    Deliver sales objectives of investment products to segment & referrals of HNWI for advisory services.
•    Compliance with customer TATs, internal SLAs and minimizing rejection rate of customer applications.

•    Achieve overall financial numbers of Priority Banking segment within assigned region and opening up opportunities for the distribution network.

Frameworks, Boundaries & Decision Making Authorit

Define the nature of policy/procedure/instruction constraints and the nature of reporting relationships with the boss as well as any relevant financial sign-off authorities.

Framework & Boundary:

•    Business environment remains challenging given aggressive competition from the established local & MNC banks.
•    Constantly changing banking regulations & policies. 
•    Developing integrated approach & retail strategy to target employees of bank’s corporate clients.
•    Working across the entire organisation in order to achieve the business objectives.
•    To assist branch distribution channels in achieving sales targets. Manage the direct sales team as an immediate responsibility.

Decision Making / Input:

•    Proposition pricing across the entire range of retail banking products
•    Marketing strategy across ATL & BTL initiatives
•    Joint responsibility with channels & other Product Groups in meeting business objectives

A minimum of master’s degree in Business Management/ Chartered Accountancy

•    Bi-lingual (preferable)

Work Experience 

•    8+ years of retail banking experience with 2+ years in Priority Banking segment.
•    Preferably in the employee banking or similar aspects of personal banking. UAE experience highly desirable.
•    Relevant product, sales & distribution and industry knowledge.
