Job Purpose

The investment solutions manager must work with various segments’ RMs and coverage teams to generate leads and increase successful investment solutions placements. Additionally, support the product management of the investment solutions products.

Key Accountabilities

Client Coverage

▪ Manage the investment solutions placement efforts and engage with clients to grow AUMs and increase successful conversion rate.

▪ Actively engage with RMs and business units to identify and qualify potential leads for investment solutions through client mining exercises and cross-sell opportunities.

▪ Analyze and assess the client risk profile, financial situation, and return objectives to determine the suitable investment solutions.

▪ Manage the investment advisory relationships and servicing of the Investment Solutions clients through regular engagement, providing investment portfolio and market updates, and answering related queries.

▪ Conduct regular product training to business units to improve the placement capabilities and increase product knowledge across segments

Product Management

▪ Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of the investment transactions and resolve any issues that may arise.
▪ Coordinate with the marketing team to prepare relevant marketing literature.
▪ Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory and compliance requirements, while always exercising high degree of fiduciary responsibility.

Investment Analysis

▪ Develop investment analysis and research capabilities by continuously researching the market, engaging with asset managers, and participating in relevant webinars and seminars.
▪ Assess market movements and events impact the investment portfolios and strategic asset allocation.

Job Context

The role involves building strong relationships with business partners in the coverage segments RMs, and branches to identify and qualify prospective clients for cross selling investment products and solutions.
The role involves investment advisory relationship management with clients across segments to deepen relationship, increases cross sell ratio and gain core bank status with NBF’s key client relationships.

The role also requires liaising with external and internal parties to resolve any outstanding issue that disrupt the workflow of investment transactions

Education

University degree as a minimum is a prerequisite Financial planning and other related certifications a plus

Experience and Skills

Professional Qualifications:
An ideal candidate should have following qualifications
CISI certification:
1. International Certification on Wealth & Investments management
2. Global Securities
3. Risk in Financial Services
4. UAE Financial Rules and Regulations
Or is working towards a CFA qualification


Work Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in investment advisory, or wealth management role that have performed a financial planning or investment analysis.

Good understanding of financial markets, expert in asset allocation advisory business model.
Proven track record in meeting set financial goals, and ability to manage a multi-cultural client portfolio.  
Proficient in operations matters related to investment management Proven ability to manage stake-holders and client relationships in an advisory capacity.
Experience of operating in the UAE or the region is a big advantage.
