Job Description: 

Job Purpose

CCA team provides support function to various business units within the bank.
Responsible for planning, directing, and supervising the daily work & the ongoing activities of the Operations Control Unit to ensure that bank policies, internal control procedures & general job regulations & guide lines are strictly followed in addition to providing an efficient and effective support to the business units.

Key Accountabilities

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Preparation and maintenance of loan Interest calculation and repayment schedules
  • Diarizing due dates, and preparation of Interest/Principal payment Advice to participant banks.
  • Coordinate with the Treasury Department to fix interest rates based on the loan interest maturity periods & for new drawdowns 
  • Advising Interest rate fixing to Participants on individual basis via e-mail/fax
  • Assisting Senior Manager to coordinate with lenders and the borrower in the event of market disruption invocations event occurs.
  • Assisting in collection of all participant banks cost of funds and discussing (Weighted average COF) the same with the borrower to agree upon an interest rate where it is acceptable to each bank and the borrower.
  • Preparation of revised interest fixing workings and communicate the same to (Market disruption) participants on individual basis.
  • Preparation of new drawdown advices under a syndication facility on receipt of the utilisation requests from the client/ via the Branch Syndication unit.
  • Ensure compliance of internal conditions precedent such as opening of DSRA account and RCA accounts etc., signing of syndication agreements, on behalf of NBF in the capacity of facility and security agent. Coordinating with Borrower and lenders with regard to target drawdown date.
  • Liaise with “Central Operations/Payment Investigation Units regarding disbursal/receipt of funds, on the correct value date.
  • Monitor and ensure that borrower’s account is credited and NBF Nostro/Central Bank Account is remitted by banks with their contribution on the correct value date.
  • In the event of shortfall/delay, escalate it to the Senior Manager/Executive to arrange interest claims as appropriate with back value.
  • Update/maintain contact details and remittance details of all participants and their representatives on regular basis & call back for verification.
  • Ensure that notices sent are received by the desired recipients.
  • Arrange Security documents for lodgements.
  • Preparation of security document releases as an when required (in the capacity of Security & Facility Agent – in Liaison with External Legal Counsel)
  • Preparation of monthly MIS overdue report
  • Monitoring of Covenants in an excel sheet - (co-ordinating with borrowers to obtain Periodic MIS reports, Insurances, Guarantees, progress reports, financials, compliance certificates etc.) and circulation of MIS reports to participant banks.
  • Assisting in document reviews, confirmations on CP compliance etc., with regard to fresh syndication deals and providing feedback to Senior Manager.
  • Timely filing and proper maintenance of files
  • Liaising with OCU for limit loading of Syndicated facilities.
  • Diarizing of dates as required, ensuring not to miss any due date or deadline
  • Ensure approval terms as per the limit advice/Term sheet/Loan Agreement are in place.
  • Recovery of fees and maintenance of records in an excel sheet.
  • Update new or changes in security as applicable in EIRC
  • Attending lenders and borrower queries, calls & coordinating with external legal counsel.
  • TT authorisation upon advice from Senior Manager, attending to UAT etc.

    Establishing objectives and action plans and follow up on the progress for data integrity, data cleaning exercises & special assigned projects.
•    Implement internal control procedures, and manage the assignment of work among staff.
•    Coordinate with IT department for required  local system developments and enhancement
•    Responsible for conducting any required system testing and pass the required information to other staff. 
 

Education

A minimum bachelor’s degree in a business related field or equivalent

Experience and Skills

Education level
    A minimum Bachelor’s degree in a business related field or equivalent.
Work Experience 
    7 - 10 years overall experience within a reputed bank with a minimum experience in Credit Administration of 5 years
