Job Scam Alert
It has come to our attention that unauthorised individuals and organisations are impersonating as representatives from banks in the UAE in an attempt to fraudulently recruit and solicit illegal payments from job applicants.
The fraudsters are posing as recruitment agencies that advertise fake roles via unauthorised emails, phone calls and online job postings.
Should you receive any communication about jobs or recruitment opportunities with NBF, follow these simple guidelines to verify their authenticity.
We will NEVER:
- Send you information on job opportunities from free web-based email accounts. All official communications about genuine job opportunities at NBF will always originate from a verifiable NBF email address using the @nbf.ae domain.
- Request for recruitment processing fees, deposits or interview set up costs. Neither NBF nor any of the official organisations that recruit on our behalf will ever ask for money transfers or payments of any kind from prospective job applicants.
- Make you a job offer without interviews. All candidates for any NBF role will have to go through a formal recruitment process and will have to be interviewed by an NBF employee before any official offer is made.
Please note that all NBF vacancies are advertised on careers.nbf.ae.
Should you be unsure of any NBF role being advertised elsewhere, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 8008623 (if calling from UAE) or +9714 815 7555 (if calling from overseas).
DISCLAIMER: NBF shall not be responsible for the communication of any fraudulent information relating to unauthorised recruitment, nor shall we be liable for any loss or damage incurred by any member of the public as a result of dealing with any entity which illegally solicits payments for fake recruitment services or job opportunities at NBF.
